The man, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, stands on the crest of a high dune. He rests a rifle on his shoulder and is holding camel stick. His shadow falls across the sand to his left. A vast expanse of wind-rippled dunes, dotted with a few rare shrubs, spreads out across the distance before him.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
