View of a Bedouin tribesman, a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, standing next to a trilith monument at Mudayy. The man stands in the foreground, leaning on a walking stick, behind a trilith monument. Trilith monuments are comprised of a long row of markers made from upright stones. These triliths are found aligned with local watercourses, and are often found in conjunction with fire pits. These triliths do not mark sites of actual graves and their specific purpose is still unknown.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
