Description

View of a village in the Al Ghamid tribal region between the villages of Al Makhwah and Thurayban. In the foreground three members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party ride their camels along a road, passing farmers' fields edged with low stone walls. In the left background a village of square one storey stone houses sits along the top of a low hill. Further beyond a ridge of high mountains rises in the right background.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
