Description

View of dhows (sailboats) and coral on the shore in Manama on Bahrain Island. In the foreground a wide area of shallow water fills the shore. Further beyond the shore is dotted with piles of coral, which men are collecting into carts drawn by donkeys. Nearby a few dhows are beached on the sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
