Description
Standing full length portrait of an Arab man, one of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's falconers, holding a peregrine falcon in the Al Khatam sands near Al Ain. A falconer in a light coloured thobe (long shirt) topped with a cartridge belt holds a peregrine falcon on a mangalah (cuff) on one arm. The falcon wears a hood decorated with a few long strips of leather. A camel stands to the right of the falconer, in front of a tree (only the head and neck of the camel are inside the frame). In the far distance beyond small shrubs and bushes grow on a flat expanse of rocky sand. The sky above is dotted with clouds.
