Description
Three-quarter length portrait of two local Bedouin men at a well between Jabal Sumeini and Sharjah. Two Bedouin men stand with their camels. A smiling man stands in the central foreground. He is wearing a thobe (long shirt) and a ghutra (headscarf). Behind him on the left another Bedouin man stands on one leg, holding a tangle of rope in his hand. He is wearing pants under his thobe, the lower portion of which is tucked into a ball at his waist. Behind them shrubs grow on a far sand dune.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
