Description
Portrait of Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin and one of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling companions, sitting at a campfire in the Al Batin sands near Liwa oasis. Salim bin Kabina sits to the left of the fire, frowning as he pokes at a small kettle with a piece of wood. Beside him is a second pot and a large pile of firewood.
