Description
View of an abra (ferry boat) launch at Dubai Creek. Across an expanse of flat water buildings with one and two storey wind towers (barjeel) sit along the far side of Dubai Creek. The building on the left has a box made from woven palms (possibly a latrine), hanging from the side of the building above the water. At the centre, between the houses, oarsmen wait for passengers beside their abra at the ferry launch.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
