Description
View of Muhammad bin Al Jabari, one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions, standing with a woman outside a tent in Al Muwaiji near Al Muwaiji Fort in Al Ain oasis. In the near right distance Muhammad bin Al Jabari, a tribesman of the Awamir Bedouin, stands with a Bedouin woman at the entrance to a tent. The tent is built of woven palm frond mats and has been erected beneath a large tree on the left. In the far right distance a further settlement of tents sits among tall trees and low sand dunes.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
