Description
View of a man standing next to the stern of a baghla on the shore of Dubai Creek. A man in a white thobe (long shirt) and ghutra (headscarf) stands next to the stern of the baghla, a large ocean going sailing vessel, that has been propped up on wooden piles which sticking out of the water and sand. The transom stern of the baghla has five windows, the rightmost of which are propped open, and is elaborately decorated with wood carvings. In the far left distance, a fence made of palm fronds lines a sand dune. In the far right background one and two storey houses sit along the far shore.
