Description

View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking across dunes in Al Humrah sands during their journey to Umm az Zumul. Three of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions trek in a line across a flat expanse of wind-rippled sand, heading from the near left foreground towards the far right. On the left one of the men rides, while the two men ahead of him lead their camels on foot. In the background low rolling downs stretch out to the far horizon beneath a cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
