Description
View of dhows (sailboats) moored alongside the Shindagha district in Dubai Creek. In the foreground a few pieces of cloth and rope hang from the yard of a moored dhow on the left. On the right a small rowboat is tied alongside. Behind it many more dhows are moored or beached in front of the Shindagha district. In the far background the square Shindagha watchtower is visible standing high over the district. One and two storey houses, some with wind towers (barjeel), sit along the far Bur Dubai side of Dubai Creek.
