Portrait of a member of Wilfred Thesiger's party with two camels in the Al Batin sands near Liwa oasis. One of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions is casually resting on his camel. In one hand he holds the head rope of the second camel, which is grazing on a small dry bush in the foreground.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
