View of camels belonging to Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party on a sabkha in Al Humrah sands during the party's journey to Umm az Zumul. In the foreground small shoots of vegetation grow in an area of sand. In the left distance two of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions walk along with four camels across a vast white sabkha (salt flat). On the right two more camels graze on in an expanse of sand.
