Description
View of the Shindagha district from the Bur Dubai side of Dubai Creek. An empty rooftop topped with a palm frond shade canopy sits in the foreground along Dubai Creek. On the left 'arish huts and fences line the shore where two dhows (sailboats) are beached. In the far left background a square stone watchtower, the Shindagha, rises high above nearby houses in the Shindagha district. Further along, on the far side of the creek, one and two storey houses made of coral are built close together. Near the centre of the creek two large dhows (sailboats) sit in the water.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
