Description
Portrait of one of Sheikh Shakhbut bin Sultan Al Nahyan's retainers kneeling in the sand on the Corniche in Abu Dhabi. The man holds a rifle in his right hand. He is wearing a headscarf secured with a dark 'agal (head rope) and wears a silver embossed dagger (khanjar) on a belt over his shirt (thobe). In the background the ocean stretches into the distance behind him.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
