Seated portrait of an Arab man, a member of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party, holding a saker (hurr) falcon in the sands surrounding Al Ain. The man crouches in the sand looking at a saker (hurr) falcon which he holds on a mangalah (cuff) on his arm. A wakir (block) lies in the man's lap. He wears a loose ghutra (headscarf) tied with an 'agal (head rope) and a light coloured thobe (shirt), topped with a cartridge belt and leather suspenders. Behind him, on the left, a desiccated tree grows in the sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
