Description
View of a peregrine falcon (shahin) killing its prey, a MacQueen's Bustard (houbara), in the sands surrounding Al Ain. In the foreground a peregrine falcon, which belongs to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party, pins a MacQueen's Bustard to the ground with its talons. The peregrine holds its wings out over the bustard to maintain its balance. Large plants, possibly sedge (qassis), grows in the foreground.
