Description
Seated portrait of a tribesman of the Duru Bedouin in the Wadi al 'Ayn. A tribesman of the Duru Bedouin sits in the sand facing forwards. He leans on one hand which sits inside a metal bowl. He wears a plaid cloth tied like a sash over his thobe (shirt) and a checked headscarf tied with an 'agal (head rope). Behind him trees and bushes grow in the sand, and a man stands in the background.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
