Description
Portrait of Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin and one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions, with his camel in the Al Batin sands near Liwa oasis. Salim bin Kabina sits on his camel beside a large desiccated bush. Salim bin Kabina looks directly back at the photographer. His camel grazes on a bush in front of him.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
