Description
View of two members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party in a rocky plain below Jabal Sumeini. On the left two Bedouin men in futah (wraparound skirts) crouch around a feral donkey shot by Wilfred Thesiger. They are skinning the donkey. Around them small bushes grow on the rocky floor of the vast flat plain. It the far right distance a high mountain rises above the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
