Description
View of a ridge of high dunes bordering a sand flat in the Al Qafa' or As Saruq sands north of Liwa oasis during their journey to Abu Dhabi. In the foreground a large expanse of bare sand leads to steep dunes and a sand flat. To the left of the high dunes is a vast area of open sand in which a few clusters of salt bushes grow. To the right of the dunes another cluster of salt bushes grows on a sand ridge below a high dune.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
