Description
View of two of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions at a well in Al Ain / Buraimi oasis. In the near distance two Bedouin men stand on the left, next to a large wood and adobe framed well. In the left distance beyond the well Jabal Hafit (Jebel Hafeet) is visible above the horizon. In the right distance a number of 'arish huts and an adobe building sit on the plain. Behind them a grove of date palms grows beyond a sand ridge.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
