Description
View of a sand dunes in Liwa oasis. In the foreground a large expanse of sand is criss-crossed by footprints and camel tracks. In the distance beyond a sand fence has been constructed along a sand ridge. Behind the ridge a cultivated date palm grove grows in a depression. Dunes, some of which are lined with sand fences, rise into the far distance.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
