Description
Seated portrait of two members of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party in the Al Khatam sands near Al Ain. On the left an Arab man with a thick dark beard kneels looking into the left foreground. His hands are clasped in his lap and a coil of rope sits by his knees. Behind him sacks of supplies are piled in the sand. On the right another Arab man sits in front of a cooking fire. He also has a thick beard. He keels holding a rifle in one arm while a camel stick rests against his other arm. A coffee urn sits on the fire. In the distance beyond shrubs and trees grow on a flat expanse of rocky sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
