Description
Portrait of a peregrine falcon (shahin) with its prey, a MacQueen's Bustard (houbara), in the sands surrounding Al Ain. In the foreground a peregrine falcon, belonging to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party, stands in profile on the head of a dead MacQueen's Bustard that it has killed. Around it plants and small vegetation grow on the sandy ground.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
