Description
Half length standing portrait of an Iranian porter on a boat in Dubai Creek. A middle-aged man with a moustache and stubbly beard stands facing towards the left, his head turned towards the foreground. He wears a light coloured waistcoat over his thobe (long shirt) and has a ghutra (headscarf) tied high on his head. In the far background an abra (ferry boat) launch sits on the opposite side of the creek between two buildings.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
