Description
View of Salim bin Kabina, a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, in Al Humrah sands during the party's journey to Umm az Zumul. Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, walks through a patch of vegetation, likely qassis (sedge), growing beside a dune. Nearby camel blankets lie in a pile on the sand. In the distance beyond three of the party's camels graze in the sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
