Group portrait of four members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party camping in the Wadi Thu'ayt. Four of Wilfred Thesiger's Bayt Kathir Bedouin guides sit in a circle around a fire. The man on the left is stirring one of the three pots sitting on the fire. In the far distance the sandy wadi bed stretches out to a low rock escarpment running along the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
