Description
View of rolling sand dunes in Al Batin sands region of the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali) between Al Dhafra sands and Liwa oasis. A large bush grows from the side of a dune in the foreground, and beyond it rolling dunes stretch out into the distance. A bare salt flat (sabkha) lies beyond in the background at the right. The salt flat is encircled by steep dunes.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
