Description
Portrait of Musallim bin Al Kamam, one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions, standing on a sand dune in Al Khatam sands. In the central foreground Musallim bin Al Kamam, a sheikh of the Musaifar lineage of Rashid Bedouin, stands in a thin patch of qassis (sedge), holding his rifle in his right hand. In the distance beyond a large dune rises into a high crest on the right.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
