Description
Close up portrait of tribesman of the Duru Bedouin sitting in a camp near the Wadi Samhan. A middle-aged tribesman of the Duru Bedouin with a long thick beard sits facing forward on the ground, leaning his arm across his knee. His plain ghutra (headscarf) is loosely held in place by a frayed 'agal (head rope) and he wears a khanjar (dagger) over his thobe (shirt). In the background a shrub grows.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
