Description
Portrait of a peregrine falcon (shahin) with its prey, a desert hare, in the sands surrounding Al Ain. In the central foreground a peregrine falcon, belonging to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party, stands on a desert hare that it has killed. It is eating the hare. All around dry sprigs of vegetation lie in the sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
