Description
Portrait of members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party men butchering a camel in the Shi'b al Raqq near the Haij well. In the foreground two men stand on either side of a dead camel. They are skinning the camel. Musallim bin Al Kamam, a sheikh of the Musaifar lineage of Rashid Bedouin, stands at the far left holding a dagger. Another man stands in the right foreground, cutting the skin off the camel's back.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
