Description
Portrait of an Omani man, one of Wilfred Thesiger's bodyguards, near Kismim Pass in the Jabal Qara mountains. An Arab man, a retainer to the Wali of Salalah, stands to the left of a large flowering bush in a patch of grass. Behind him trees and bushes grow on the hillside in the background.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
