View of vegetation growing on a sand flat in the Ramlat al Ghirbaniyat (Ghirbaniyat Sands). In the foreground a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party stands in the party's camp. In the background large clumps of vegetation grow across a vast sand flat. In the far distance dunes rise to high peaks along the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
