Description
Portrait of a saker (hurr) falcon with its prey, a MacQueen's Bustard (houbara), in the sands surrounding Al Ain. A saker falcon, belonging to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party, stands on a MacQueen's Bustard in a patch of sand littered with small pebbles. The falcon holds its wings out from its body in order to maintain its balance on the bustard and shield its prey from other predators.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
