Description
Seated profile portrait of Salim bin Kabina, a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, and a tribesman of the Wahiba Bedouin at a well in the Wadi 'Andam. On the left Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, sits on the ground facing towards the right. He is drinking from a bowl. Just behind Salim bin Kabina a tribesman of the Wahiba Bedouin sits on the ground.
