View of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions watering camels at a well in the Al Batin sands near Liwa oasis. In the centre one man pours a leather bucket full of water into a trough for four camels. Two of the camels drink water from the trough, while another two wait for their turn to drink. Two men stand on the left, watching the man pouring water.
