Description
View of a member of Wilfred Thesiger's party standing in Al Humrah sands during the party's journey to Umm az Zumul. In the near distance one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions stands on the slope of a large dune. He holds a rifle over his shoulder and leans on a camel stick. Behind him there is a deep depression in the sand. Further behind scattered dots of vegetation grow on the slopes of a large dune that rises to a high point in the distance.
