Description
View of newly planted date palms at a palm grove in Liwa oasis. In the foreground a number of young date palms, some still small shoots, have been planted in rows. Behind the new palms a more established grove of date palms grows on the far edge of the salt flat (sabkha). Small salt bushes grow scattered across the open sand between the groves.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
