Description
Full length standing portrait of a boy with his donkey in front of a house wall in Sharjah. A teenage boy stands leaning on a cane next to his donkey in front of a decorated wall. The boy wears a patterned ghutra (headscarf) and a shirt cinched with a thin leather belt over a wraparound skirt. Beside him the donkey has been saddled with blankets and a thick sheepskin. The wall behind them is decorated with carved plaster embellishments and plants can be seen growing in the courtyard behind.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
