Description
View of one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions leading three camels in Al Khatam or Al Humrah sands south of Al Ain. In the near left foreground branches from a large dry bush cover a small mound of sand. Nearby one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions leads two camels through an area of hadh (Cornulaca monacantha) bushes, which grow scattered across the downs. In the far distance a ridge of sand dunes rise below a vast cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
