Description

A peregrine falcon perches on a carved wooden wakir (block) staked in the sand on the crest of a sand dune. The peregrine faces towards the left. A falconer's mangalah (cuff) lies in the sand to the right of the wakir. In the background the crest of the dune continues into the far distance.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
