Description
View of a house with a large wind tower (barjeel) in Dubai. In the foreground a large compound of 'arish huts, made from palm fronds, are enclosed by a palm frond fence. Behind the compound a tall building, likely built of coral and with a large barjeel on its roof, towers high above the 'arish compound. Date palms and other trees grow in the building's inner courtyard.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
