Description
Portrait of members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party men butchering a camel in the Shi'b al Raqq near the Haij well. In the foreground a group of men are gathered around a dead camel. They are starting to skin the camel from the neck down. Musallim bin Al Kamam, a sheikh of the Musaifar lineage of Rashid Bedouin, stands at the far left side. Another man stands in the foreground, cutting the skin off the camel's back.
