Description
View of the Sultan's Palace in the city of Shibam in Wadi Hadhramawt. In the foreground locals walk in the square. The Sultan's Palace sits on the right. It is comprised of two large multi-storey buildings, each one painted with thick alternating horizontal stripes. The windows of the palace are covered with carved wooden grilles. In the left background is the minaret of the Abu Maruf Mosque.
