Description
View of dunes in Al Batin sands near Liwa oasis in the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali). A ridge of barren sand in the foreground is broken by a depression at the right, in which a number of small plants grow. On a further dune second cluster of plants grows on a dune slope. Low, wind-rippled dunes fill the distance from the near foreground to the far horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
