Description
View of a man and some camels searching for grazing on large sand dunes in the Al Qafa' or As Saruq region north of Liwa oasis. In the foreground a vast expanse of sand, bare of vegetation except for a few tufts of vegetation, rises into a ridge of dunes in the distance. A man and three camels walk along the trough below the dunes. Further along two more camels graze on the slopes of the dunes.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
