Portrait of Wilfred Thesiger's Omani bodyguard and two Qara tribemen in Wadi Nihiz in the Jabal Qara mountains. On the right Wilfred Thesiger's bodyguard (third from the right), a retainer of Wali of Salalah, stands next to two Qara tribesmen in a field. In the distance beyond trees grow in a valley between large fields.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
